noooo ! damnit ! :P i wanted to buy this game yesterday and give some extra's to motivate the builder. but yesterday i was at my slow desktop so i didnt buy this wonderfull game, today i am at my game pc so i wanted to buy this game but now the buy button is gone !!! now i need to wait till it comes out if steam :P damnit !!! in case you reed this, keep ut the good work, i sow this game on youtube ( markeplier ) and i was sold, hope this game will come up soon ( beta or ended version ) greetz secretman8o !
dont know why the buy button is unavailable, but dont worry. its being released on steam very soon. its said to be released on the second quarter of the year, which we're in right now. for now, lets hope its only down because its being released on steam very soon or if not, that its available again soon. then, whenever its released, you'll get a steam key. :)
You have Windows x86 (which means Windows 32-bit) and you have to install Human x32 then. Didn't the install give any errors, and can you please give your PC specifications. Also I'd like to know your Direct X version.
On the official steam release in the second quarter of 2016 (Steam Page). Together with the release (which you will get a key for if you already bought the game on itch.io) there will be a number of updates.
Right now focusing on finishing the game. All post-launch planning will happen... post launch :) Level builder is very unlikely because the level design is not modular. Supporting mods was not built into the game architecture, have to check if game is "evolvable" to support mods through steam workshop in the future.
There has been an update like 50 days ago, there are more updates coming soon tho and in the second quarter of 2016 (We are almost there!!!) there will be the official steam release!!! :) Steam Page
A little bit of patience, please. Can't wait to publish more content :) Working under 150% load with a publisher (Curve Digital) to get the game ready for full launch on Steam. All who bought the proto here will get that final game once it's on Steam with the new content and features that are currently under development.
Glad to hear you enjoyed playing the game! There are more awesome features coming in the future, such as: local co-op, more levels and even more sweet things!
I really love this game, there are so many different things you can do with just moving your hands. I'm really looking forward for more great maps to play, maybe a car you can drive, maybe some mountain to scale, maybe a medieval battle with catapults and swords. The possibilities are endless. I strongly suggest playing this game for yourself.
Great to hear u enjoy the game. There are more updates coming soon, and in the second quarter of this year, it will be released on steam. So if you already bought it, you will get a "free" steam key. Btw if there were swordfights added, it would more be like GangBeasts, especially with the controls XD Have fun playing!
Sword fights in a way that you still need to pick the sword and/or shield up and flail it around with the floppy arms of yours like destroying a wall with the wrecking ball or something like that :^)
If you buy it now, and there is a update, you will receive an email, which gives you the downloadlink to the new version, and if it is released on steam (second quarter of 2016), you'll get a steam key.
He is working on local co-op (AKA same pc co-op), I don't know if that includes controller only, or keyboard and controller support simultaneously. Multiplayer via Steam or Internet is impossible because of latency.
I love this game! I have played through a few times now and I can't wait for more content.
Intriguing use of the Unity engine! The character mechanic is so intuitive, it just works. Maneuvering is a bit finicky at first, but it all becomes very natural after a while.
Level design is great with intermediate puzzles (not a bad thing), a very interactive world, and adequate replay ability.
Things I would like to see:
- Sturdy Bob (less wiggly) Perks: Less of a drunk
- Big Bob (gelatinous, fluffy, phat) Perks: Can roll
- Lanky Bob (Taller) Perks: He's taller!
- When steam support is added, maybe a workshop for skins?
- Bob's no builder without tools and a tool belt! Maybe like a winch you can attach to a surface that can be used for repelling or moving objects. Hammer to break things. Glue gun to attach things at a point.
Keep up the good work... Also I would love to be able to play on my Xbox One!
I personally don't like the idea of multiple characters, cause the things you think are good for new characters, the exact opposite of those has the current character and that is the fun part of the game, at least I believe it is.
True. I love the character the way he is, but I also believe variety will play a key role in the success of this game. The more stuff I get to fumble around with the better. I do see that other characters may not fit with the storyline (Crazy Narrator/ Human dynamic), but I also see how it can be beneficial...
- Narrator: Not all Humans are as, well, average as Bob here. Some are special!
MAC version still has an issue - tutorial videos do not play, therefore it's not officially out. I was providing MAC version to people who have bought the game by mistake, not realizing there's no MAC with a disclaimer that tutorial vids don't work.
Because it's totally worth it, and you will support the developer, who totally deserves it... It's easy as that. It's just like any other game except this one is even better :)
Today I got a report that the game is not working (shows purple screen). Analyzing the log files, I discovered that GPU only had 64VRAM and G3D mark of 7. Already old GeForce 450 GTS has G3D mark of 1546! (http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GTS+450&id=1) and is capable of running the game with the maximum settings. Let's try to determine minimum GPU needed to run the game, also the minimum GPU that runs the game with all the setting maxed out. Please reply to this if you have a low spec video card and tell if you are able running the game and whether you needed to change the settings to make it run.
I have the GeForce 210 Graphics card with 1GB VRam and I can run the game at these settings:
Clouds: second setting Shadow: first setting Texture: first setting (first means, no black, second means quarter black). Every other setting is of. Screen resolution is changed from 1980 x 1020 to 1280 x 720
i literally did this exact same thing once. along with the climbing thing at the beginning that lets you win instantly. i couldnt get the cane thing up all the way so i had to climb down
Great news - Curve Digital will help publishing Human: Fall Flat on PC and consoles. This means that I will be able focusing on the game while they will take care of other equally important things. More details coming soon. Full press release here: http://games.premiercomms.com/release.asp?i=2606
Just completed the game for the 2nd time :D Absolutely loving it, It does test your patience to the limit some times haha Really cant wait for the full game release and i really hope you do a workshop update or a way for players to make their own map and share them with a code or something.
You can indeed play the game many times, I played it 3 times myself, and every map I tried another way to solve the puzzle. Btw talking about workshop, this is his reaction to it. "Steam Workshop is not in the plans for the launch, but I'd love to add it in the long run."
Yep that's why i didn't say to add the workshop update, as i have already asked him about this, I'm Just hoping he does do it or something along the lines to enable players to build their own maps
No I do understand that you don't read all of them, but it literally says it in the game's description, I quote: "While it is not the final game, buying it now will provide access to future updates and the full game once it is released!"
If it is okay to ask a technical question, here it is: I have been fascinated with this game, very simple and elegant. If I may, what are the physical elements made of? Like the catapult and other items that work flawlessly and beautifully , are they rigged with a bone and animation system, or actual physical elements? and the glass, the glass is beautiful as well! Can't wait for the Steam release!
Animation is not used anywhere in the game. I try to stick to regular rigidbodies and joints. In some cases rigidbody setup is changed at runtime (e.g. catapult being the most complex gadget so far, re-rigs itself depending on player intention). Most of things that are scripted are reactive - meaning that I read collisions, rigidbody positions/rotations to decide forces (catapult, doors, bending bars, glass shatter, etc). With my background C# is the easiest animation authoring tool :)

It will be even cooler with more updates coming up, together with the Steam Release
This Bug shows that if you grab the iron hook, your arms will stretch out and bug. Sometimes even the whole hook goes into the ground.
P.S. Sorry for the small screen and the low FPS, my pc doesn't like the game in 1920x1080 and if OBS is also recording my pc just hates me...
Thanks, for letting me know. The fix is there and will make to the final version. Exploit it while you can ;)
You're Welcome

On the official steam release in the second quarter of 2016 (Steam Page). Together with the release (which you will get a key for if you already bought the game on itch.io) there will be a number of updates.
Any chance there will be a level builder and/or steam workshop in the future?

Ty, couldn't answer that question XD
Alright just keep it in mind. You know, modding communitys can create a lot of creative content and it would make this game even more awesome! :)
Is it even possible to make this game even more awesome?
what did I do? I do not know
I know what you did, you fucked up XD
XD
Just hope I will get updates / the release as well ... maybe steam key if it going on steam
Yes, you will get the Steam key once it's on Steam. As well as the new content that is to be included in the Steam release.
The steam release will be in the second quarter of 2016 (Steam Page)
Should be any day now then :)
Saw the game on youtube today through yogscast and Sips aaaand. I just can't wait. So I had to come and say that.
It's a beautiful game, so simple in its design and yet so complicated!
haha yes indeed
Bought it 70 days ago and there hasn't been an update. I cant wait for the next one! fun game.
There has been an update like 50 days ago, there are more updates coming soon tho and in the second quarter of 2016 (We are almost there!!!) there will be the official steam release!!! :) Steam Pageomfg same 71 days no major update cant wait :D

At least they are hyped about feature updates! That means we want more of your awesome content!
I played the game on Youtube and immediately proceeded to call Bob by his full name: Bobert. More fun than I've had playing a game in a long time :D
Glad to hear you enjoyed playing the game! There are more awesome features coming in the future, such as: local co-op, more levels and even more sweet things!

OOOOW... Yeah that might could be a thing
Do you have to buy the game again to access updates? Or is it the final version?
If you buy it now, and there is a update, you will receive an email, which gives you the downloadlink to the new version, and if it is released on steam (second quarter of 2016), you'll get a steam key.
Don't even ask how long this took to get up there.
Haha tried it too, but after 5 minutes I got bored XD
My last video in this version of Human Fall Flat! :)
Looking forward to play more of the upcoming versions in the future!! :D
Stay Rad Everybody!!

He is working on local co-op (AKA same pc co-op), I don't know if that includes controller only, or keyboard and controller support simultaneously. Multiplayer via Steam or Internet is impossible because of latency.

Great to hear that you enjoy the game! You can even play the levels 2 or 3 times since there are multiple ways of solving one level!

Yes, yes indeed
hello there
I love this game! I have played through a few times now and I can't wait for more content.

what are the controls for human fall flat
They should just be in the game, man. Check the keybind menu.
You can use the controller (LS walk, RS look, A jump, LT/RT use hands) or keyboard & mouse (WASD walk, Space jump, mouse - look, LMB/RMB use hands).
I bought this game about 2 weeks ago and yesterday I decided to format my computer. How do I get my copy of the game back?
Link to it is in "My Purchases" here on itch.io.
I tried that but I didn't make this account until just now so there is nothing in my purchases
Try this then https://itch.io/support.
Yay! I'm back! I can help you again!!!
i had that problem recently but all you have to do is check your email for the purchase receipt and you can use that
i just wasted £9, I bought the game and they did not even send me the game FUCK THIS COMPANY
You should contact the itch.io support center and not the developer.
They dont send you the game you idiot..... Press download at the bottom of the post... Select which version you want (x64bit or x32bit) and poof
how do i get this game for MAC OS X.
i see other people and some friends say that its out for MAC OS X.
MAC version still has an issue - tutorial videos do not play, therefore it's not officially out. I was providing MAC version to people who have bought the game by mistake, not realizing there's no MAC with a disclaimer that tutorial vids don't work.
I bought it and I wasted my money
Hello, did you contact for MAC build? Was there something wrong with it?
Yes it would say it isn't supported for Mac OSX
why do you have to pay for human fall flat
Because it's totally worth it, and you will support the developer, who totally deserves it... It's easy as that. It's just like any other game except this one is even better :)
will i get a virus if i download the game
No ofcourse not. Unless you consider the best game in the universe as a virus. Yes, then you will get a virus :P

If i want to play game, do i reallymust buy it? if yes than do it on steam "Play now" so for free thx
You have to buy it, but it's totally worth it, and you support the developer, who deserves it.
Is there any chance we can get the soundtrack?
Record the game and convert it to mp3 XD
ok, if it does come out I'll get it. Or at least the tutorial song
Soundtrack is still in progress. There's a chance that OST will be released if there's demand ;)
I would release it as a cheap DLC (like 1 or 2 $) on steam, if I was you
here you have the video of NoBrakesGames, it has the menu theme

when is this game coming out on steam
Just read the steam description:
Release date: Second Quarter 2016
