what did I do? I do not know

I know what you did, you fucked up XD

XD

Just hope I will get updates / the release as well ... maybe steam key if it going on steam

Yes, you will get the Steam key once it's on Steam. As well as the new content that is to be included in the Steam release.

The steam release will be in the second quarter of 2016 (Steam Page)

Should be any day now then :)
Saw the game on youtube today through yogscast and Sips aaaand. I just can't wait. So I had to come and say that.

It's a beautiful game, so simple in its design and yet so complicated!

haha yes indeed

Bought it 70 days ago and there hasn't been an update. I cant wait for the next one! fun game.

There has been an update like 50 days ago, there are more updates coming soon tho and in the second quarter of 2016 (We are almost there!!!) there will be the official steam release!!! :) Steam Page

omfg same 71 days no major update cant wait :D

A little bit of patience, please. Can't wait to publish more content :) Working under 150% load with a publisher (Curve Digital) to get the game ready for full launch on Steam. All who bought the proto here will get that final game once it's on Steam with the new content and features that are currently under development.

At least they are hyped about feature updates! That means we want more of your awesome content!

I played the game on Youtube and immediately proceeded to call Bob by his full name: Bobert. More fun than I've had playing a game in a long time :D

Glad to hear you enjoyed playing the game! There are more awesome features coming in the future, such as: local co-op, more levels and even more sweet things!

I really love this game, there are so many different things you can do with just moving your hands. I'm really looking forward for more great maps to play, maybe a car you can drive, maybe some mountain to scale, maybe a medieval battle with catapults and swords. The possibilities are endless. I strongly suggest playing this game for yourself.

Great to hear u enjoy the game. There are more updates coming soon, and in the second quarter of this year, it will be released on steam. So if you already bought it, you will get a "free" steam key. Btw if there were swordfights added, it would more be like GangBeasts, especially with the controls XD Have fun playing!

Sword fights in a way that you still need to pick the sword and/or shield up and flail it around with the floppy arms of yours like destroying a wall with the wrecking ball or something like that :^)

(1 edit)

OOOOW... Yeah that might could be a thing

Do you have to buy the game again to access updates? Or is it the final version?

If you buy it now, and there is a update, you will receive an email, which gives you the downloadlink to the new version, and if it is released on steam (second quarter of 2016), you'll get a steam key.

Don't even ask how long this took to get up there.

Haha tried it too, but after 5 minutes I got bored XD

My last video in this version of Human Fall Flat! :)
Looking forward to play more of the upcoming versions in the future!! :D

Stay Rad Everybody!!

(1 edit)

i tried so hard but i gave up, i couldnt get the roof on.. but i think its safe to say no one has built a house in human :)

My house

Wow... How long did it took you? 2 years???

(1 edit)

love the game!

Things I would like to see:

same pc co-op (for player 2 the xbox 360 gamepad for moveing and stuff)

yeah co op would be awesome

(1 edit)

He is working on local co-op (AKA same pc co-op), I don't know if that includes controller only, or keyboard and controller support simultaneously. Multiplayer via Steam or Internet is impossible because of latency.

ok!

just chilling, knowing i've succeeded for like the 10th time in this awesome game. no exaggeration too, i've played through so many times.

Whahhaa nice one! The luck is real...

Started playing this game a couple of days ago! :D
Really enjoying it! :)

Stay rad everybody and have a great weekend!! :D

Great to hear that you enjoy the game! You can even play the levels 2 or 3 times since there are multiple ways of solving one level!

I love this game! I have played through a few times now and I can't wait for more content.

Intriguing use of the Unity engine! The character mechanic is so intuitive, it just works. Maneuvering is a bit finicky at first, but it all becomes very natural after a while.

Level design is great with intermediate puzzles (not a bad thing), a very interactive world, and adequate replay ability.

Things I would like to see:

- Sturdy Bob (less wiggly) Perks: Less of a drunk

- Big Bob (gelatinous, fluffy, phat) Perks: Can roll

- Lanky Bob (Taller) Perks: He's taller!

- When steam support is added, maybe a workshop for skins?

- Bob's no builder without tools and a tool belt! Maybe like a winch you can attach to a surface that can be used for repelling or moving objects. Hammer to break things. Glue gun to attach things at a point.

Keep up the good work... Also I would love to be able to play on my Xbox One!

I personally don't like the idea of multiple characters, cause the things you think are good for new characters, the exact opposite of those has the current character and that is the fun part of the game, at least I believe it is.

True. I love the character the way he is, but I also believe variety will play a key role in the success of this game. The more stuff I get to fumble around with the better. I do see that other characters may not fit with the storyline (Crazy Narrator/ Human dynamic), but I also see how it can be beneficial...

- Narrator: Not all Humans are as, well, average as Bob here. Some are special!

what are the controls for human fall flat

They should just be in the game, man. Check the keybind menu.

You can use the controller (LS walk, RS look, A jump, LT/RT use hands) or keyboard & mouse (WASD walk, Space jump, mouse - look, LMB/RMB use hands).

I bought this game about 2 weeks ago and yesterday I decided to format my computer. How do I get my copy of the game back?

Link to it is in "My Purchases" here on itch.io.

I tried that but I didn't make this account until just now so there is nothing in my purchases

Try this then https://itch.io/support.

Yay! I'm back! I can help you again!!!

i had that problem recently but all you have to do is check your email for the purchase receipt and you can use that

i just wasted £9, I bought the game and they did not even send me the game FUCK THIS COMPANY

(1 edit)

You should contact the itch.io support center and not the developer.

They dont send you the game you idiot..... Press download at the bottom of the post... Select which version you want (x64bit or x32bit) and poof

how do i get this game for MAC OS X.

i see other people and some friends say that its out for MAC OS X.

MAC version still has an issue - tutorial videos do not play, therefore it's not officially out. I was providing MAC version to people who have bought the game by mistake, not realizing there's no MAC with a disclaimer that tutorial vids don't work.

I bought it and I wasted my money

Hello, did you contact for MAC build? Was there something wrong with it?

Yes it would say it isn't supported for Mac OSX

why do you have to pay for human fall flat

Because it's totally worth it, and you will support the developer, who totally deserves it... It's easy as that. It's just like any other game except this one is even better :)

will i get a virus if i download the game

(1 edit)

No ofcourse not. Unless you consider the best game in the universe as a virus. Yes, then you will get a virus :P

Minimum GPU requirements

Today I got a report that the game is not working (shows purple screen). Analyzing the log files, I discovered that GPU only had 64VRAM and G3D mark of 7. Already old GeForce 450 GTS has G3D mark of 1546! (http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GTS+450&id=1) and is capable of running the game with the maximum settings. Let's try to determine minimum GPU needed to run the game, also the minimum GPU that runs the game with all the setting maxed out. Please reply to this if you have a low spec video card and tell if you are able running the game and whether you needed to change the settings to make it run.

I have the GeForce 210 Graphics card with 1GB VRam and I can run the game at these settings:

Clouds: second setting
Shadow: first setting
Texture: first setting
(first means, no black, second means quarter black).
Every other setting is of.
Screen resolution is changed from 1980 x 1020 to 1280 x 720

i literally did this exact same thing once. along with the climbing thing at the beginning that lets you win instantly. i couldnt get the cane thing up all the way so i had to climb down

If i want to play game, do i reallymust buy it? if yes than do it on steam "Play now" so for free thx

You have to buy it, but it's totally worth it, and you support the developer, who deserves it.

Is there any chance we can get the soundtrack?

Record the game and convert it to mp3 XD

ok, if it does come out I'll get it. Or at least the tutorial song

Soundtrack is still in progress. There's a chance that OST will be released if there's demand ;)

(+1)

I would release it as a cheap DLC (like 1 or 2 $) on steam, if I was you

here you have the video of NoBrakesGames, it has the menu theme

Great news - Curve Digital will help publishing Human: Fall Flat on PC and consoles. This means that I will be able focusing on the game while they will take care of other equally important things. More details coming soon. Full press release here: http://games.premiercomms.com/release.asp?i=2606

I'm glad to hear. Keep the work going man!

Heck yeah!

I've added you on steam as friend (as [NL] TheAsher), hope you don't mind...

Just completed the game for the 2nd time :D
Absolutely loving it, It does test your patience to the limit some times haha
Really cant wait for the full game release and i really hope you do a workshop update or a way for players to make their own map and share them with a code or something.

You can indeed play the game many times, I played it 3 times myself, and every map I tried another way to solve the puzzle. Btw talking about workshop, this is his reaction to it. "Steam Workshop is not in the plans for the launch, but I'd love to add it in the long run."

Yep that's why i didn't say to add the workshop update, as i have already asked him about this, I'm Just hoping he does do it or something along the lines to enable players to build their own maps

Deleted post

Just as said in the previous comments, yes you will get a steam key. Release date: Second Quarter 2016

Deleted post

No I do understand that you don't read all of them, but it literally says it in the game's description, I quote: "While it is not the final game, buying it now will provide access to future updates and the full game once it is released!"

If it is okay to ask a technical question, here it is:
I have been fascinated with this game, very simple and elegant. If I may, what are the physical elements made of? Like the catapult and other items that work flawlessly and beautifully , are they rigged with a bone and animation system, or actual physical elements? and the glass, the glass is beautiful as well! Can't wait for the Steam release!

(+1)

Animation is not used anywhere in the game. I try to stick to regular rigidbodies and joints. In some cases rigidbody setup is changed at runtime (e.g. catapult being the most complex gadget so far, re-rigs itself depending on player intention). Most of things that are scripted are reactive - meaning that I read collisions, rigidbody positions/rotations to decide forces (catapult, doors, bending bars, glass shatter, etc). With my background C# is the easiest animation authoring tool :)

That's incredible. :D I love the physics in this game, now I know why!

when is this game coming out on steam

Deleted 8 years ago

Just read the steam description:
Release date: Second Quarter 2016

Alright last one I promise. I thought long and hard about what I said with the ideas of giving Bob accessories and since I can't do that yet I DID doodle them on to him. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Human Fall Flat: Batman Edition. Now I truly feel free in this amazing game.

you're really still butthurt after 21 days? I hate to be the one to tell you that 1. you may need a life and 2. spamming EVERY comment this thread won't get anyone, including the developers of the game, to like you, but I guess I will have to be that person. Honestly you've been more of a nuisance than anyone else if I really must be totally honest ;)

Deleted 8 years ago
(1 edit)

you mean how YOU feel lol. Nobody rlse has ever acted like as big as a baby as you are about this and in all honesty thats kind of what indie developers do lol. I've about 90% of the developers of games I lets play and SELF PROMOTE contact me personally too. Dont feel so special buddy its all part of business and marketing and you took the bait pretty hard. You also do realize that "self promoting" helps indie games as well right? You think people are just going to jump up and flat out buy a $10 indie game? No. They want footage. They want game play. They want some kind of proof that this game doesn't outright suck since indie games tend to be a huge gamble nowadays. By "self promoting" I both allow myslef to maybe generate views, AND give hopeful buyers something to watch meaning the game in question has a better chance of being purchased. Not that you'd know anything about the business side of both promotion and game development though it seems. Anyways have fun with commenting on every single comment on here I'm sure you'll pop up in another 21 days lol.

It would be useful if you actually had views. If they want gameplay they are going to watch big channels like, JackSepticEye, Markiplier or LordMinion777 but not a YT'er that is on the last page. This is the last thing I'm saying, you know my opinion, and most ppl their opinion now, and I'm done with this arguement. Good bye sir.

When the game comes to steam, Is it going to be any different from this version?
Also is this going to be a community run game? To where the community ideas such as things in Workshop (steam) can be used in game.

If so, This game wont get old and people wont get bored of a game that includes this.

At Steam launch the core of the game will remain as is, but there will be some more content and features. While I do have roadmap, confirmed features will come as separate announcements when I'm 100% sure they will make to the actual release.

Steam Workshop is not in the plans for the launch, but I'd love to add it in the long run.

Sounds brilliant, You can could go far with this game.
Is it just you developing the game or have you got a team?
I would love to do some 3D moddueling for the game.

I believe it's just him alone, but you know what's the problem if you do the 3D modeling for him? He has to describe what he wants exactly, then it's most likely it's not perfect, so you will have to recreate the model, or you may even totally abandon the project which means that he has to do it himself anyway. Also there is a lot more that can go wrong when you work with multiple people and thats why most developers like to work on their on. Even though I don't know this developer personally I think he want's to do it all by himself (or the team that he is in right now)

That's the beauty of independent studios, it's just like, FREEDOM! I would guess he uses Blender for the models, but who knows. :b

(+1)

He knows XD

Is there custom maps for this game (if not: Will there ever be custom maps)

Not in the plans for foreseeable future, but never say never.

Ok

when was the last update?

30 March

You can still buy it, You just have to transfer the UK currency (that' pounds), to USD. So you have to pay 7.02740689 British pounds. You can check it on Google, just type 10 USD to British Pound.

how do I do that I reeeaaaallllly want the game

Just buy the game and type in 10 USD and then paypal will automatically transfer it to British Pounds

Can I buy the game in pounds (£) because ime not American and don't have dollars pls help

Doesn't PayPal handle currencies automatically? I used to buy things in GPB, EUR, USD and whatever else without any problems.

I didn't have any problems with buying the game, and I'm from The Netherlands where we have Euro's instead of USD and it worked for me just fine...

UPDATE: I loved this game so much I did another lets play on it. I would love to see the ability to add various accessories to Bob one day. I just really feel like I need to put a cape on him so that he can fall with style. But yeah I think accessories would be an awesome little addition to really make messing with bob fun!

my second video where I explore the construction area:

i tried to buy the game and it said invalid zip and then it took money out of my card so idk what to do

Try contacting itch.io support, maybe they will know what's the problem and what to do next.

i did an they havent responded do they have a number

They won't respond in 1 sec they are humans too.. Have some patience pls

i actilually sent them a email about it two days ago so

NVM then, I didn't say a thing.

Is this game coming to Steam?

Yes it has been greenlighted a week ago.

Awesome! Looking forward to it being published
